Unlike the Atlantic Asterias, Echinaster is a well behaved, compatible member of the aquarium. Extending its eyecatching, vivid orange tubed feet, it propells iself gracefullly over the bottom and ascends the aquarium walls. It never burrows into the sand, and outlasts all other starfish. One of our most popular specimens.
